Following the enactment of the New Labour Laws in 2016, a number of issues and challenges have been identified. Implementing the new Labour Laws without the supporting Statutory Instruments to clarify a number of hanging or contradicting labour laws has proven to be a challenge for many if not all Employers. Now Employers must give a reason for terminating a contract, what about the issue of giving a notice?

What should the long awaited SI contain? How many subsequent short term contract renewals should the employer make before deeming it a permanent contract?
